Terms & Conditions

Last updated: 2026-08-01

This is a template starting point, not a substitute for legal advice — have a qualified lawyer review these terms before relying on them for a live commercial service.

1. Acceptance of these terms

By creating an account or using journey.delivery ("the Service") in any way — as a registered traveler, a company admin, or an invited viewer — you agree to these Terms & Conditions and our Privacy Policy.

2. What the Service does

journey.delivery lets a traveler share the live, road-based progress of a journey with people they specifically invite. The Service shows position, route, and distance/time remaining. It does not provide turn-by-turn navigation or driving directions — it is a visibility tool for the traveler and the people watching, not a satnav replacement.

3. Accounts and responsibilities

You're responsible for the accuracy of the information you provide, for keeping your login credentials confidential, and for all activity under your account. Company admins are responsible for the drivers and vehicles they add to their account. Travelers are responsible for operating any vehicle safely and lawfully — the Service is a supplementary tool and must never be used in a way that distracts from safe driving.

4. Viewer access

A viewer can only see a trip if the traveler has specifically invited that viewer's email address to that trip. Sharing your traveler login, Trip ID, or PIN with anyone beyond who you intend to grant access to is done at your own risk.

5. Subscriptions and billing

Company accounts are billed through Stripe according to the plan selected. Plan pricing, driver limits, and billing interval are shown before you subscribe. You can manage or cancel your subscription at any time from the billing portal linked in your company dashboard. We don't store your card details — payment processing is handled entirely by Stripe.

6. Acceptable use

You agree not to misuse the Service — including attempting to access a trip you weren't invited to, attempting to guess or brute-force Trip IDs/PINs, sending unsolicited bulk email through the platform, or interfering with the Service's normal operation.

7. Data retention

A completed trip's route and position history remains viewable by its invited viewers for approximately 12 months after completion, then becomes eligible for deletion. See the Privacy Policy for details on what's collected and how long it's kept.

8. No warranty / limitation of liability

The Service is provided "as is." GPS accuracy, map/routing data, and email delivery all depend on third-party providers and mobile network conditions outside our control, and we don't guarantee uninterrupted availability. To the fullest extent permitted by law, journey.delivery is not liable for any loss or damage arising from reliance on the Service, including missed deliveries, delayed notifications, or positioning inaccuracies.

9. Termination

We may suspend or terminate an account that violates these terms. You can stop using the Service and request account deletion at any time by contacting us.

10. Changes to these terms

We may update these terms from time to time. Continued use of the Service after a change means you accept the updated terms.
